On December 7th, 2018, I met Richard Gere in Düsseldorf. I was standing one meter away from him on the red carpet. He had received an honorary award at the sustainability award ceremony. His speech impressed me immensely and strengthened my belief that we should create our planetary path in Berlin to show people how small the earth is in relation to the sun and the other planets and that a meaningful future is only possible through appreciation of all living beings and all life. The Alex as a symbol of the sun in the field of tension between industry and creation.
